Kindergarten Thanksgiving Lessons

ILES kindergarten students are learning all about the first Thanksgivings through special sessions.
Each class recently rotated through the kindergarten pod learning different parts of what makes the holiday special.
In one session, they learned about the Pilgrims coming across the ocean on the Mayflower and they made a Mayflower craft. In another, they watched a video about the Native Americans who helped the Pilgrims and they made teepee crafts. In other lessons, they followed a recipe for fry bread and even made turkey puppets.
