This is the image for the news article titled Ag Experience Day 2024Indian Lake Elementary third grade students got to learn what life is like on a farm during the recent "Ag Experience Day." 
ILHS/OHP FFA students set up stations where students could see the controls of a tractor, study the layers of the earth with "dirt pudding," dig into planting crops by potting flowers, get their feet moving with square/line dancing and learn barnyard animal care with goats, calfs and more that live in the on campus FFA barn. They also learned about the importance of agriculture in our area and what it means to work the land. 
The day is a cross campus activity to let FFA students showcase their farming knowledge and describe occupations in agriculture.
