The very first Indian Lake Elementary D.A.R.E. students officially graduated recently! Washington Township Police Chief Michael Thompson and SRO Logan Miller headed up the ceremony. Students each received a certificate and a t-shirt.

In total, 96 Indian Lake 4th grade students completed the ten-week D.A.R.E. course taught by Washington Township Police. During the course, students learned about decision making for safe and healthy living for themselves and others around them. At the conclusion of the course, students made a pledge to themselves and each other that they will utilize the skills learned in D.A.R.E. to make healthy decisions in the future. 

The D.A.R.E. course will be taught to all future Indian Lake 4th Grade Students.
