There's big egg-citement in the third grade as students return from Easter Break!
The eggs in the classroom incubators hatched on Easter Day. Students were surprised to find 19 new feathered friends waiting on them in the pod. However, one little egg was a few days behind. Students were able to watch that chick hatch throughout the day today!
ILES third graders are studying the birds as part of their wider life cycle unit. In a few weeks, the chicks will go home to a local farm.
