Kiddos were excited to get their hands on new and new-to-them reading material!
This afternoon was the very first ILES Little Laker Bookstore of the 2025-26 school year. Recently elected elementary school Student Council members helped run the establishment. Students are able to buy age appropriate new and gently-used books to take home.
The Little Laker Bookstore usually operates once a month throughout the school year. Proceeds go to purchasing more books!
The first Little Laker Bookstore at Indian Lake Elementary School is set for Wednesday, September 17th.
Picture books are $2 and chapter books are $3. Gently used books are 25-cents. Dogman and Diary of Whimpy Kid books are $7.
The Little Laker Bookstore takes place about once a month at ILES. Proceeds go towards purchasing more books!
ILES Student Council members run the store by doing the advertising, making change and helping others shop.
