Indian Lake Elementary School students have a new friend to help them with behavior skills.
Assistant Principal Mrs. Scarpella says Roger the Snowman is what's called a "Character Education Character."
Character education is the teaching of values or virtues that we use every day to make decisions, such as caring, respect, responsibility and other R-factor principles.
Roger will be around all winter as a reminder to stay in the Laker Zone! Messages on the announcements will highlight Roger's character trait focus for the week.
