The Second Quarter Laker Zone Assembly encouraged students to show respect by raising their hand and waiting their turn in the classroom!
The Zone Buster is sponsoring a winter-time good behavior challenge including Let's Build a "Zone"man to earn extra (inside) recess. Even Kid Chaos agreed that it's important to be respectful to teachers and other students in your class by raising you hand before yelling out an answer to a question.
Students earned 1,355 Laker Zone cards in the Second Quarter...that's even more cards earned that the First Quarter!
The 2nd Quarter Laker Zone winners were announced. They are:

1st Grade- Dax Young, Layla Stanley, Laila Dennison, Lucy White, Wyatt Myers and Jaxton Sloas
2nd Grade- Alyssa Reed, Henley Warnecke, Beckett Williams, Kaylynn Yoder, Hux Rhoads, Colten Hughes and Otto Fout
3rd Grade- Ellery Steed, Rayah Wheeler, Gavin Gibbons, Dawson Snipes, Bella Monterroza and Kamden Lacher
4th Grade- Zane Gladden, Jordyn Hogue, Julianna Brentlinger, Adrien Padgett, Chloe Grumbling, Ev Ritter and Shelton Hartley

Finally, second grader Evalynn Hershberger and fourth grader Logan Stockmaster each won the drawing for new bicycle for perfect attendance during the second nine weeks.
