Students in the ILES Students With Disabilities unit have some cool new wheels!
Members of the Chippewa Neighborhood Watch group presented the kids with brand new adaptive bicycles recently. The bikes can be adjusted in a variety of ways to fit any kind of rider. Therapist Wendy Parker says they'll use it in the hallways and around the building throughout the year to help students exercise and build muscle groups.
The Chippewa Neighborhood Watch raised the money to purchase the adaptive bicycles by holding a variety of fundraisers throughout the year. Each bike costs between $900-$1200. Thank you!!
