UPDATE! Plastic Lid Drive for New Buddy Bench

We ask and the Indian Lake community delivers!! The plastic lid drive is over! Here’s a special message from ILES Co-Principal Pam Scarpella.
Indian Lake Elementary School is currently holding a Plastic Lid Drive to fund a new Buddy Bench on the playground.
Any plastic lids, from food containers, detergent, soda/water bottles and more will work! Students from all school buildings and anyone from the community may donate. Please make sure the lids are clean!
ILES is looking to collect 100 pounds of plastic lids to earn a new Buddy Bench through the CAP OSSC Buddy Bench Recycling Program with the Ohio Safety Center.
The ILES Playground area currently has one Buddy Bench where a student who is lonely can have a seat. This sends a signal to other kids that the person on the bench needs a friend to play with.
