ILES Kindergarten students expanded their horizons during the annual Kindergarten Experience Day!
Students were able to hop in the cement truck from Ohio Ready Mix. They got to learn about and pet the Washington Township Police K9, Hondo, with SRO Miller. They tried out yoga exercises and stretches with instructor with Ashley Sloan. They sampled some local honey and located the queen bee with representatives from Nate's Nectar. Finally, they learned about water safety around pools and the lake with Mrs. Suzie Headley.
The ILES PTO and kindergarten teachers organize this event to reinforce many curriculum standards and get students familiar with local businesses and services.
