I am very excited to be a fourth grade teacher at Indian Lake Elementary School. I teach two blocks of math, social, studies, and science to my homeroom and Mrs. Crockett's homeroom.  I am fortunate enough to have the help of Mrs. Kline, our inclusion specialist, and Mrs. Yanchik, our educational aide, on a daily basis.

I am a graduate of Indian Lake High School.  I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from The Ohio State University which allows me to teach any subject in grades 1-8.  I have also earned a master's degree in Educational Leadership from Wright State University.

This is my 21st year of teaching.  For the first 8 years of my career, I instructed 6th grade students at Indian Lake Middle School in the subjects of language arts and science.  I then moved to Huntsville Elementary and taught all disciplines in 3rd grade for 4 years.   Even though it was hard to leave, I decided that the middle school schedule suited my family schedule better, so I ended up teaching 6th grade language arts for 8 more years.  Now I am back at the elementary level and am enjoying it greatly.
