After graduating from Indian Lake High School in 1989, I attended Otterbein College where I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education with certification in first through eighth grades. I received my Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instructional Management from Wright State University in 2009.  I began teaching at Indian Lake in 1994 at the old middle school where I taught 6th and 7th grades.  I then traveled to Suzuka, Japan through a sister city teaching exchange where I taught English to Japanese junior high school students.  After returning from Japan, I began teaching first grade at Lakeview Elementary, moved to Huntsville Elementary to teach first and second grade, and then moved to our newest elementary building to continue teaching 2nd grade to the present.

I am married to my husband, Rick and have two children, Emma and Colin, who both attend the Ohio State University.  I enjoy boating, gardening, and scrapbooking.  We are all graduates of Indian Lake Schools.
