ILES Kindergarten students gained all kinds of local knowledge during the 2023 Kindergarten Experience Day!Students were able to hop in the cement truck from Ohio Ready Mix. They got to learn about water safety from local experts, try out some yoga exercises and stretches with instructors and talk safety with local law enforcement officials from Washington Township Police Department. In addition, Ohio Hi-Point Career Center Animal Science students brought in a variety of small animals to touch.
The ILES PTO and kindergarten teachers organize this event to reinforce many curriculum standards and get students familiar with local businesses and services.
