Indian Lake Elementary School second graders took the audience on an exotic adventure full of danger during their mini-muiscal "Welcome to the Jungle," written by Andy Beck and Brian Fisher. Along the way, they learned about kindness and the right way to make a friend!
They all did such a good job singing and delivering their lines!
The production was based on the fable of "The Lion and the Mouse" by Aesop, where the tiny mouse rescues the mighty lion when he gets ensnared in a hunter's net.
The show was directed by ILES music teacher Tracey Notestine with help from Pamela Thayer. Special thanks to all the family and friends who helped with costumes and came to watch:)
Here's a quick clip of the title song.
