From "The Big Rock Candy Mountain" to "This Land is Your Land" the students enjoyed learning about the song's origins and performing for their loved ones. They concluded the show with the entire student body singing "She'll Be Coming' Round the Mountain" and "We Are the Kids of ILE." After the performance, students were able to take their grandmas and grandpas back to their classrooms to show them special projects and meet their teachers. Along the way, they paused to appreciate a piece of artwork from every ILES student displayed on the walls as part of the 2nd Annual Grandparents Day Art Show. The ILES Grandparents Day event is a collaboration between every single ILES staff member. Tracey Notestine and Pamela Thayer direct the music. Terry Nelson coordinator the Art Show.
Thanks to all the grandparents and loved ones who were able to come to this event on a Tuesday this year because of the weather cancellation!

Here's a clip of the final song!
