Ahead of Veterans Day, ILES 4th graders got to learn some military basics from Airman First Class Jordan Cotterman. He is currently on leave from the Air Force visiting family. He spent some time explaining what he does with several classes.

Airman Cotterman is an avionics maintenance technician who repairs A10 WartHog planes. He completed his basic training at Lackland Air Force Base in Texas, then went to Technical School at Sheppard Air Force Base in Texas. Airman Cotterman also showed students how to perform a proper salute and push ups. Thank you for your continued service to our country!!
Reminder: ILES is planning a Veterans Day Ceremony at 8:40 am on Friday, November 10th. In addition, Indian Lake Schools are teaming up with local Amvets Post 39 to collect monetary donations to send care packages to ILHS graduates serving in the military. They will be mailed just after Thanksgiving. If you know of any Indian Lake graduate who is stationed outside of the area or you would like to donate, please call 686-7323.
