Several ILES students proved their math skills by taking the annual Noetic Math Challenge!
Third graders who took the test got awards recently. Nearly 4,200 third graders across the nation participated by answering 20 problem-solving questions in 45 minutes.
The top ILES Third Grade Team winners were Ella Wu, Kaiden Lacher and Grady Zielinski. They received medals. Several more students received National Honorable Mention certificates for being in the top 50% of students taking the test. They are: Wu, Lacher, Zielinksi, Mason Berg, Brady Jackson, Colt Volbrecht, Jayden Longman and Miller Hall.
In addition, (pun intended!) several ILES fourth graders took the fourth grade version of the Noetic Math Challenge. Wyatt Baier, Evan Wu, Tyler Jackson and Laura Metzger (pictured in order left to right) all made the National Honor Roll and Evan Wu was named Team Leader for having the highest ILES 4th grade score. More than 5,000 fourth grade students across the country took the challenge. Well done!
